You are God's special project. He's daily

working to perfect you. That's our

message. The Lord has given extra special

gifts to many who are living on earth

today. Here are a few examples.

Three persons that are said to have the

highest IQ in the world today are

Terence Tao an Australian

Mathematician, Chris Langan a rancher and

former bouncer at a bar and Yong Hun Kim

a Korean professor at Cornell

University. These are super geniuses.

Their IQ's are above 200 with one being

as high as 275. To give you a better idea of what

this means. Consider that a normal

person's IQ is around 100. Then there's a talented footballer

from Portugal named Cristiano Ronaldo

who is the most followed person in the

entire world with more than 1 billion

followers. Another called Dwayne the Rock

Johnson was the highest paid actor in

the world in 2024. Sir Thomas Edison, Isaac Newton,

Galileo and Leonardo da Vinci are said

to be among the top intelligent people

that have ever lived. One invented the

light bulb, one invented the parachute

and helicopter and the other discovered

calculus. And did you know that the smartest

people are born in the month of

September. In addition there is at least

one study that says Asian people are the

most intelligent people in the world. And

what about Daniel Browning Smith known

as Rubber Boy. He's an American actor,

comedian and TV host who holds seven

Guinness World Records for being the

most flexible man in the world. There's

also Liberty Bars an English dancer

called Flexible Girl who has seven

Guinness World Records. She discovered

her gift by accident. Why does God give special gifts

and talents to certain people and what

seems like more prosperity to certain

nations? Of course we do not know the

answer to these questions but we do know

that if these super famous persons with

all their popularity and wealth gain

from their wonderful gifts, if they do

not come to know Jesus Christ as Lord

and Savior before they die, they have

lived in vain and are without eternal

hope. And we know that all those who come to

know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior

receive special gifts from God and have

a special place reserved for them in

eternity. It is important for us to know

that God has not left us short of any

good thing. He tells us in Psalm 84:11,

"For the Lord God is a sun and shield.

The Lord will give grace and glory. No

good thing will He withhold from them

that walk uprightly. Bless the Lord. He

expands on this in Ephesians 2:10

telling us, "We are God's workmanship

created in Christ Jesus for good works,

which God prepared beforehand that we

should walk in them."

And this means that we are His handiwork,

His masterpieces created in Christ Jesus,

having been reborn from

above. And we have been spiritually

transformed, renewed, ready to be used for

good works which God has prepared for us

beforehand. And He wants us to walk in

the path that He has laid for us, living

the life that He has pre-arranged and

made ready for us. We become God's special children, His

workmanship or His project when the Lord

Jesus Christ enters our heart. A project

of course is a piece of planned work or

activity that is completed over a period

of time and intended to achieve a

particular aim. The word project comes

from the Latin word projectum, which

means to throw something forward. and

this can be taken to mean that when

Christ enters our hearts He projects or

throws us forward, not backwards. He

throws us forward by making us better, He

improves on us so He can send us forth

to do His bidding. Now here's the awesome nature of

a project. Number one, projects are time

limited and so are we. The Lord has

placed us here for a season. We are

timestamped with a beginning and an

expiration date. And then like a well thought out

project, He's also given us specific

purposes and like all projects we go

through life cycles as He perfects

us. In order to achieve His objective,

each project is made uniquely adapted to

fulfill a specific plan and of course we

are uniquely suited to God's plan for

our life. And finally God's projects are

vehicles for venturing into the

unknown. And of course man is an

explorer. And when we stand back and look

at all of this we see that every child

of God fits this description of a

project because we are indeed his

workmanship created to do good works.

However as we set out on this journey in

Christ, we soon learn that we are not

just an ordinary project but an

extraordinary one and you will recall

that at the creation, according to the

book of Genesis each day after God

created the heavens, the earth and all

that are in them. He stood back and

admired His workmanship saying that it

was good. However on the sixth day after

creating mankind in His own image and

likeness and making them male and female.

He stood back and said "It was very

good." The holy scriptures bring into

focus what He meant by saying His

creation of mankind was very good and we

will examine some of these statements

made by God about His human creations in

this message.

Number one, according to 1 Peter 2:9 the

people of God are a chosen generation, a

royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own

special people, that you may proclaim the

praises of Him who called you out of

darkness into His marvelous light. And

when we examine this we begin to

understand why God requires so much of

us, His children. And we understand the

Israelite people who were the first to

be called the people of the Most High

God, Was separated from the rest of the

world. We understand why the Lord God put

His mark of circumcision upon them and

expected obedience from them above and

beyond what was expected of the rest of

the world. As we try to understand what the

Lord meant when He said that we are a

chosen generation and a royal priesthood,

more light is given to us in John 15:16

where He tells us "You did not choose me

but I chose you and appointed you that

you should go and bear fruit and that

your fruit should remain. That whatever

you ask the Father in my name He may

give you. These things I command you that

you love one another.

According to research, typically when a

king appoints someone it involves that

king using his power to fill a position

of authority or influence and this may

be a governmental post or the post of a

high ranking position in the king's court

or in his military service. The king

possesses what is called executive

powers that give him the authority to do

these things. Our God is the King of all

kings and the Lord of all lords and His

sovereign powers are greater than any

other. And therefore His chosen ones are

indeed royalty and the things done by

them have His seal of approval and

cannot be challenged because they are

authentic. In this way the work we do for

the Lord will remain. It will last and

when tested by fire our work will not be

destroyed. And therefore we are the Lord's

handiworks designed to live a life that

reflects Him or that reflects His

character. And you may say that God has

already planned the good works that His

children will do. And that He has

equipped them to live them out.

In His letter to the Colossians the Apostle Paul said that

when he heard of their great faith he

never ceased praying for them, asking the

Lord that they may be filled with the

knowledge of His will in all wisdom and

spiritual understanding. And that they

may walk worthy of the Lord, fully

pleasing Him, being fruitful in every

good work and increasing in the

knowledge of God. Strengthened with all

might according to His glorious

power. For all patience and longsuffering

with joy. Giving thanks to the Father who

has qualified them to be partakers of

the inheritance of the saints in the

light.

Therefore friend we are expected to walk

in a manner worthy of the Lord, That we

may please Him in every good way, bearing

good fruit, doing good works, while

growing in the knowledge of God. Gaining

strength in our daily walk through this

dark and wicked world because we are

children of the light and not children

of darkness.

Some of us today like the children of

Israel in Jeremiah's time have forgotten

our God. We have forsaken Him and gone in

hot pursuit of the things of the world

and we have turned to worthless idols

and this has caused us to stumble and to

stray away from the pathway that the

Lord has laid for us to walk in.

But He's saying to us the same thing

that He said to the children of Israel

through the prophet Jeremiah the day

that He sent Jeremiah down to the

potter's house to learn about the works

of a potter. And He said the following oh

house of Israel can I not do with you as

this potter says the Lord. Look, as the

clay is in the potter's hand so are you

in My hand oh house of

Israel. Like the nation of Israel had

become in that day many of us are either

unaware or have forgotten about the

power of our great God. The power to

build up and the power to tear down. We

need to come back to this. Therefore it

is important for us to cooperate with

our God as He works to perfect us.

There's a beautiful psalm in which the

Lord promises that He will fulfill and

complete His purpose for your life. The

psalmist declares the following in the

138 division. Though I walk in the midst of

trouble you will revive me. You will

stretch out your hand against the wrath

of my enemies and your right hand will

save me. The Lord will perfect that which

concerns me. Your mercy O Lord endures

forever. Do not forsake the work of your

hands. This is the cry of the psalmist,

and should be the cry of every one of us.

There are many who desperately need to

know that the Lord will revive them and

save them. They need to know that the

Lord will complete the work that He's

begun in them.

Please know that not only will the Lord

complete this work but He will indeed

perfect it. Be assured my friend that the

Lord has not forsaken you. For in another

place He says "For a brief moment I

abandon you, but with great compassion I

will gather you. In an outburst of anger

I hid My face from you for a moment but

with everlasting favor I will have

compassion on you." Isaiah

54:7. Many are struggling with ailments

Today. Struggling with

disappointment and struggling with

feelings of neglect and

abandonment and some are perhaps at the

end of their rope. But this verse

promises us that God will fulfill and

will complete His purpose for your life.

This promises us that His mercy endures

forever and urges you not to give up.

Because He will not forsake the work of

His Hands. I pray God's blessings upon you,

His peace, His grace, His mercy and the

completion of the project which you are in His hands. God

bless you in Jesus mighty name, amen.

You've been listening to this message

and perhaps you do not know Jesus Christ

as Lord and Savior and perhaps you didn't understand

that you were God's special project. Well

my friend you are and He's waiting for

you to come to the table. Please say this prayer after me

and God will hear it and honor your

sacrifice. Say after me "Father I am a

sinner. Please forgive me my

sins. I am sorry for the many ways I've

been disobedient to You. I crave your

forgiveness. I need your

forgiveness. Please help

me. I want to return to You

and I have decided to invite Jesus

Christ into my heart. Dear Lord

Jesus make my heart Your

Home. I give You the key to my heart

because I now belong to You

forever. Please give me the Holy Spirit

to lead me into all

truth. Thank you Lord for saving my soul,

amen. Welcome friend to the body of

believers in Christ. There are many of us

here awaiting the return of the good

master. In the meantime we want to

encourage you to become water baptized as

quickly as possible. Begin reading the word of God.

Begin in the book of John then go to

Matthew, Mark, Luke. Pray daily, attend at your local

church and one glad morning the Savior

will come and receive us all unto

Himself. And we shall indeed forever be

with the Lord. God bless and keep you in

Jesus mighty name, amen.
