Will The Battle of Armageddon be caused by Anti-semitism?

Hello and welcome to Jeshurun Ministries GB's program preach the gospel trouble is coming to the earth. It is the program designed to give you effective solutions for handling the problems in your life and for handling the challenges of this difficult season in the world. Yes. Will the battle of Armageddon be caused by hate for Jews?

Here's an astonishing story that paints a clear picture about the hate for Jewish people. Way back in 1938, there was what was called an Evian conference in which delegates from 32 nations met to address a Jewish refugee crisis. At that time, there were about half a million Jewish refugees that needed a homeland in order to escape murderous Hitler's vendetta against Jews. And of the 32 nations, only one solitary nation agreed to accept them. Every other nation turned the Jewish people down. The only willing nation was the Dominican Republic, who agreed to accept a 100,000 Jews. But in the end only accepted slightly less than a thousand. And some of the half million Jews found illegal means of escaping Germany. But sadly, many of them ended up falling back into the hands of the Nazis anyway and were killed in the Holocaust, sadly. One day the Lord will deal with all haters.

There are two great final battles ahead of us. In the first one called the battle of Armageddon, God will cause all of Israel's enemies to join forces and rise up to fight against Israel. For years, we've been erroneously taught that the battle of Armageddon is the final battle on earth. However, this battle in which all the haters of Israel will rise up and attack God's chosen nation is just before the thousand-year reign of Christ and is not the final battle. The final battle actually will be called the battle of Gog and Magog. And it will be after the thousand-year reign or the millennial reign of Jesus Christ. And it will be just before the white throne judgment. In this message, we will talk about the battle of Armageddon in which Satan will be defeated. He will be chained and locked away in the bottomless pit for a thousand years.

While the battle of Armageddon will seem to be caused by hate for Jews, in reality it will be caused by hate for Israel's God. Please know that antisemitism or hate for the Jews is only in my opinion window dressing for the real hate in the hearts of all who hate God's chosen people. And I will show you why. What grips the hearts of haters of Jews today in my view is hate for Israel's God. Hate for Jews is not the core issue. It is only window dressing.

At the root of antisemitism today is hate for the one true God who is Yahweh, Jehovah, Yehowah, God the Father, the Most High God. This hate is fueled by Satan who has deceived the hearts and the minds of haters into thinking that their hate is for Jews. Now I will tell you why I say this. Simply because if you love the God of heaven, you will love His people and you will pray for the peace of Jerusalem every day as He has instructed us.

Let us pray. Father, we give You thanks and praise for this precious and wonderful day. And we thank You for Your holy Word. Let your Word be a lamp unto the feet of the listeners to this message and cause it to light up the pathways ahead of them. Guide them and direct them so that they will not be trapped by the snares that the evil one places before them every living day. As they listen to this message Father, remove the scales from their eyes and cause them to be able to see clearly. Thank You for giving them wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. In Jesus Christ's name we pray. Amen.

Four amazing things, friend, will happen in this final battle against Israel according to Revelation 19 and 20.

Number one, Christ and His army will capture the beast. Hallelujah.

Secondly, the false prophet will also be captured and both will be cast into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. Goodriddens.

Number three, all those who will be on the side of the beast will be slain with the sword which will proceed out of the mouth of Christ, sadly. And all the fowls of the air will be filled with their flesh, scripture tells us.

And number four, this is the great hallelujah. According to Revelation 20 verses 1 to 3, an angel will then come down from heaven with the key to the bottomless pit. He will have a great chain in his hand. He will lay hold of the dragon, the old serpent, who is Satan, and bind him for a thousand years. A thousand long years. He will cast Satan and his fallen angels into the bottomless pit and will shut them up. He will set a seal upon Satan so that he will not be able to deceive the nations anymore until a thousand years have passed by. Glory to God. And then he will be released for a short season for one more battle.

All those who claim to love Jesus Christ and yet hate Jews should ask themselves whether the Israelites, the Jews are the true children of the Most High God. This is the existential question of all existential questions. And the second question is like the first. Why do you hate the Jews? Whether they are the children of the Most High God or not?

Is not the one true God, the God of love? Is He not according to Exodus 34 and 6 the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness? Some will evade this question by saying that the Jews in Jerusalem today are not the real Jews. Many hold this view. They will tell you that they are counterfeits. This is only a cloak to hide the real issue of their hate. Why do you hate them anyway?

When the Israelites were enslaved in Egypt, hate for them as a people was born in the hearts of the Egyptian people. This is where it all began. This hate was so strong that every vestige of Israel's 400 year stay in Egypt was erased from the annals of Egyptian history. The Israelites were shepherds, you see, and the Egyptians despised shepherds. This was the first manifestation of hate for the children of God and the God that they serve. From this point onward, hate would follow them wherever they went. They were persecuted and put into force labor in Egypt where they were abused.

After more than 400 years, the Lord God called His children out from the bondage of Egypt with a strong hand under Moses leadership. As Pharaoh rejected God's call over and over, Egypt was practically destroyed by plagues from God. And plagues are coming again during the great tribulation and perhaps have already begun in the earth. And in this case, all the firstborn children of the Egyptians were killed by the angel of death in the final plague by the hand of God. Pharaoh and the Egyptian army pursued the Israelites even after they had given them permission to leave Egypt. The entire army was drowned in the Red Sea which opened up for the children of Israel and then suddenly closed upon them. It closed friend upon Pharaoh and his entire army at the time of Israel's great exodus. The Israelites were more than a million strong and they were hated by the nations that they passed by on their way to the promised land.

As we have discussed before, in the final battle ever to be fought against Israel, the Lord God will gather the nations of the earth to fight against Jerusalem. Well, who will these nations be? We know that Iran, the surrounding Gulf nations, perhaps Russia, Turkey, and some African nations will be among these nations that will form a global coalition against Israel.

However, it will be more than these. And therefore the conflict between Israel and its surrounding neighbors, especially the Palestinians and Lebanon, which are raging presently, have no end. Only Christ can end this hate. The Lord gave the land to Israel and commanded them to remove the Canaanites completely, but they did not. And now, thousands of years later, the Palestinians still share the land with them. No one has been able to resolve the conflict between these two nations. Therefore, God Himself will have to come and set matters straight and He will resolve it soon.

Here's why the Muslims will not stop fighting Israel. You see, friend, Muslims are commanded that when they are attacked or when they face aggression, they are to engage in self-defense. Our God tells us to turn the other cheek. And so provided they adhere to strict limits and cease fighting if the enemy stops fighting them, they are advised to fight.

They are told, "Fight in the cause of Allah, only against those who wage war against you, but do not exceed the limits. Allah does not like transgressors. This is a direct quote taken from Surah Al-Baqarah chapter 2 and number 19190.

The Quran also tells them prepare against them what you believers can of military power and cavalry to deter Allah's enemies and your enemies. In short, friend, they are commanded to fight aggressors, stop fighting when the aggressors stop fighting, build strength, and maintain readiness. In other words, they are instructed to continually prepare for war. In non-combat situations, however, they are commanded to repel evil with good and maintain justice with peaceful neighbors. And so this conflict, these conflicts will continue because Israel will never stop.

Historically and today hate for Jews has been found to be in many places of the world. For instance, the ADL, which is short for Anti-Defamation League, says 46% of adults living today harbor anti-Jewish beliefs and feelings. In fact, the J7, which is a coalition of Jewish organizations, put out an annual report on antisemitism, recently documenting more than 23,000 total incidents of hate toward Jews in 2025. It was the deadliest year for Jewish people in more than 30 years.

According to information gathered from the ADL, from other research groups, from the FBI, and police in various western nations. Every year there are thousands of violent incidents against Jewish people in the US, in Germany, in Canada, in the UK, in Australia, and France, just to name a few.

In fact, there were 6,000 to 9,000 violent incidents against Jews in the US in 2025, 8,725 in Germany. There were 6,800 in Canada, and 3,700 in the UK in 2025 alone. The majority of these incidents occurred friend on university campuses but they are happening elsewhere also which tell us that the thinking of the next generation will be very antisemitic.

The next generation will hate Jews more than any other generation has ever hated them. When you look at the Gaza and the Lebanon conflicts that Israel is involved in today, it may appear that the Jews are a people full of hate. But in reality, their core values and cultural traditions do not reflect that of a hateful people. While the enemies of the Jewish people are motivated by hate for Jews, Jewish culture promotes higher values aimed at saving and preserving a life, repairing the world, emphasizing social justice, charity and community improvement, loving kindness, encouraging acts of kindness, generosity, and healthy community support. But when you look at the Jewish nation today and its propensity toward war, you do not see a reflection of these principles which have governed them during the course of their entire history.

These are very high values. Historically, the nation's primary focus has been aimed at preserving their traditions and solidarity rather than hostility toward other groups. But in this season, they have become extremely aggressive. And this is according to the prophecies about the Jewish people of this season.

And the Word of God declares also in Psalm 38 and 19, "Many are My enemies without cause and many hate me without reason." This is the Father speaking. In John 15:25, Jesus Christ quoted this verse, attributing it to Himself as the hated One, the Father as the hated One. And those who have rejected the One True God cannot give a satisfactory reason for their hate, for their rejection for the One who created them. Then when we look in Lamentation 3:52, we see the Word of God saying, "Without cause my enemies hunted me like a bird." And likewise, the children of God are the most hated nation in all the world.

And there is no real logical and justifiable reason for the hate that has been aimed at them for their entire history other than the fact that they are the Father's beloved nation. In the battle of Armageddon, the Father will annihilate all of Israel's enemies in one shot. The nations around Israel are also witnesses to the fact that after a time God Himself allowed them to be chased off the land that He'd given them because of their disobedience. So God is not partial. When His favorite nation sin, they are punished. Since 1947, by a great miracle, He has brought them back to the land just as He promised. Yes, the Father has done this. He has also given them superior military, economic, social, and religious might as well as relevance. Scripture says in this season, no army will be able to defeat Israel until the time of the battle of Armageddon. And before that battle, the enemies of Israel will rise up against him and will be on the verge of defeating him and then the Savior will step in.

So here's a brief review of the recent history. In the 1800s, what is called the Zionist movement started in Europe with the aim of creating a safe national home for Jewish people in their ancestral lands. At this time, the Ottoman Empire ruled Israel and largely Arab Muslims inhabited all of the land practically. But there were also Christians living there as well. Then after World War I, Britain took control of the region and they supported a Jewish national home which caused fear and anger among the local Arab population. The United Nations suggested splitting Palestine into separate Jewish and Arab states. Arab leaders rejected the plan, feeling that it was unfair to them. And then when Israel declared independence in 1948, the wars began as their enemies came after them one by one and as groups. Israel won that first war and 750,000 Palestinians were forced to flee from their homes and from the land. They ended up as refugees. All that has happened to Israel, both the good and the bad, are in accordance to God's promises prophesied by His holy prophets and recorded in the Jewish Bible and in our Old Testament. And just as He promised, their military has been fighting with a kind of invincibility in these last days. But this will change when all Israel's enemies band together and attack them all at once with all of their might in that final great Jewish battle called the battle of Armageddon.

At this time, half of Jerusalem shall be taken. Scripture says they will be taken captives as they begin to prevail against Israel. And then God Himself will intervene and fight on Israel's behalf. and it will be all over. Tune in for the sequel to this message, the battle to end all battles, the battle of Gog and Mog. My friend, I thank you for God's blessings upon you as He causes His Word to be buried deep within your heart and that you be given a good understanding of what the scripture says. I encourage you to go back and read the book of Revelation. Read Revelation 19 and 20. Read Zechariah 12, 13, and 14 to get a full understanding of what the Word of God is saying about this great battle called the battle of Armageddon.

In the meantime, if you do not know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we want to give you an opportunity to make that commitment today. Please say this prayer after me:

  • Father, I am a sinner.

  • I am sorry for all my sins and I crave Your forgiveness.

  • Please forgive me, Father.

  • Thank You, Father, for Your mercy, for Your forgiveness.

  • I have decided to invite Jesus Christ into my heart.

  • Dear Lord Jesus, make my heart Your home.

  • I give You the key to my heart. Because I want to belong to You forever.

  • Please keep the key and please give me the Holy Spirit to lead me into all truth.

  • Thank You, Lord, for saving my soul. Amen.

Welcome, friend, to the body of believers in Christ. There are so many of us here awaiting the return of the Good Master. In the meantime, we want to encourage you to let your pastor know that you've committed your life to the Lord and you want to be water baptized the way Jesus Christ was baptized by immersion.

Begin reading the Word of God. Begin in the book of John. It is your daily food. It will keep you strong against the devil's attacks and his temptations. Yes. Begin in the book of John. Then go to Matthew, Mark, and Luke, reading audibly as often as possible because faith comes by hearing the Word of God.

Pray daily. Attend at your local church. And one glad morning the Savior will come and receive us all unto Himself. And we shall indeed forever be with the Lord. God bless and keep you in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
