There's a huge buffet of error facing young and old today.

Whether you realize it or not, it is easier for a person to be deceived today than ever before in the history of the world. The September 23rd, 2025 deception and more than 311,000 videos prove this. And this is all in line with Bible prophecies about this tumultuous, fastmoving, fake news, AI season we are presently living in. The Bible is constantly warning about powerful error in the last days. Error that will be almost impossible to resist. Well, friend, it is here.

On September 23rd, 2025, just a couple of months ago, tens of thousands around the world were expecting the return of Jesus Christ. Apparently, a South African man by the name of Joshua Mhlakela had said that Christ appeared to him back in 2018 and told him that He would return to the earth on September 23rd or 24th, 2025. The prophecy about the rapture went all around the world and many believed him. To give you an idea of how widespread the deception was, sources say the prophecy went viral on TikTok and the hashtag rapture now accumulated a whopping 311,000 videos about the rapture happening on that day. And some of these videos might have had close to a million views and there's no way of telling how many actually believed that Christ would return on that day. As the day came, many gathered in the wilderness, crying out to God as they anxiously waited for Christ's return on the 23rd. Some of them had sold their cars, given away their homes, and many had quit their jobs. Picture this. An evangelist posted a video of his car being towed away. He said he was going to be with the Lord that day and did not need it anymore. He has since apologized to his flock for letting them down. The false prophet Joshua has since disappeared from social media, but not before saying that the Lord spoke to him again and resetting the date to October 16th and 17th. Of course, this turned out to be another failed prophecy. Many were deceived by Joshua in spite of the fact that many religious groups had warned that it was a false prophecy.

Dear Lord, help us. I pray that the blood of Jesus will be upon the listeners to this message Father. I pray that you would protect their hearts and minds from the error that is coming upon the earth and is now already here. Give them wisdom, knowledge, and understanding that comes through Your Holy Spirit who will lead us into all truth. In Jesus Christ's name I pray. Amen.

I am sympathetic for the many whose lives have been wrecked, ruined by this false prophecy and by other prophecies and pastors who ran with this false prophecy. This is evidence of an increase in the power of false prophecies and doctrines in this season. This is also proof that many are gullible and will easily be deceived. We need to follow the letter of God's Word and be on the alert for deceptive spirits even in the church. And many believers in Christ are not studying the Word of God for themselves. They're only relying on their pastors to do the study for them. And this can be dangerous. There are many who are not even going to a Bible-based church or any church at all. These will surely be deceived.

And because of the internet, the speed and frequency at which error travels today is almost as fast as the speed of light it seems. Error is traveling much faster than truth and reproducing itself faster than truth. Truth is doing a poor job of keeping up with error today. And much of this error is landing in the hands of the youngest and most impressionable beings on planet Earth. Yes, it is ending up in the hands of the children and young people even before it ends up in the hands of the adults. And this spells catastrophic disaster.

Somewhere just ahead of us are two events the world anxiously await. They are the return of Jesus Christ and the seven-year tribulation period. The tribulation will be the most terror filled, error plagued, and deception riddled time the world has ever seen. It will be far worse than today. Glory to God. In that troubling time that is coming to the earth, soon the devil's power to deceive will be greatly enhanced and his false truth and lies will be backed up by fascinating miracles which will mesmerize the world. Signs and wonders performed by the false prophet will amaze even the seasoned believer in Christ and will cause many who are not rooted and grounded solidly in Christ to stumble and fall. Only the very elect will not be swayed by the power of deceit in those days. Those who will be most susceptible to all this will be those who have rejected the truth of God's Word. If you love fantasy and have an appetite for lies and have truth, beware. Watch out or you will certainly fall and great will be your fall.

Matthew 24:36 and several other scriptures make it crystal clear that no date will be given about the return of Jesus Christ. Here's what Jesus Christ said, "But of that day, an hour, no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only." Clearly, friend, this has not changed and will not change because God does not change. This scripture is backed up numerous times in the Bible. 1 Thessalonians 5:2, the Apostle Paul says that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. 2 Peter 3:10, we are told the same thing. Luke 12:40 advises us to be ready because the Son of Man will come at an hour you do not expect. And in Revelation 16 and 15, Jesus Christ said, "Behold, I am coming like a thief." So, no one will have a date in advance of Christ's return. I repeat, no one will ever have the date of Christ's return.

God has made it clear to us about the way in which we will be able to sidestep deception as we move through life. His Word tells us, "Enter by or through the narrow gate, for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it." Matthew 7:13. What does this narrow gate reference mean? It simply means that there are not many ways to enter heaven. In fact, there's only one. And Jesus Christ is the narrow gate. He is the way, the truth, and the life and the only way. And He says to us, "If you love Me, keep My commandments." Obedience, friend, is better than anything else that you can do for God.

Perhaps you've noticed that for some people, there's an anything goes approach to salvation today. Many believe that because Christ died for their sin, they can continue in their sin without consequence. And this is the attitude that caused the five foolish virgins to be left behind. The narrow gate of Christ is to take up our cross daily and follow after Him. It is a life of sacrifice and a life of selflessness. There's no salvation without full repentance either. and turning from our sins and embracing the new life in Christ Jesus wholeheartedly will bring holiness and righteousness in Christ Jesus.

So what is the objective of Satan as he multiplies error in the world today? What is he hoping to achieve or accomplish by false rapture dates? Those who believe the false prophecy were devastated after it fell flat. Their lives were wrecked and they did not know where to turn. No doubt many of them will need counseling. It is even possible that some of them have fallen away completely disheartened. If the flame of Christ in your heart is merely a flicker, Satan will use error and deception to snuff it out.

There's no room for the Holy Spirit in our heart if we are contented believing and speaking lies. If we refuse to put aside sin, if we continually grieve Him and we will not be allowed to grieve Him forever. In fact, as long as we believe there's another way of entering beside the narrow gate opened by Jesus Christ, there's no possibility for the Holy Spirit to enter our heart. God is not the author of confusion, friend. Satan is the author of confusion.

Now, the internet say that they are the best way to God. However, if the Holy Spirit was an AI generated religious council by bots, they would not lead users to commit suicide. AI says online programs like chat, GPT, Roblox can lead people to God by serving as accessible tools for spiritual exploration, learning, community building. And they make some crazy claims.

• One, they create religious content.

• They are able to counsel humans

• They say they have virtual spiritual advisors.

• They have faith-based communities. Now, here's the greatest danger.

• Number five, they claim to provide space for users to talk with AI representations of deities. This means that users will be able to speak to their gods.

• Six, AI can also generate new gods, but they warned that their bots hallucinate at times and provide inaccurate information.

Here's another source of error. Young people, be aware of the Black Hebrew Israelite movement. It has many names. Historians and linguists, archaeologists say that they have found no credible information to support the claim of the Black Hebrew Israelite movement that they are the true Jews. Unfortunately, their militaristic style and manner of dress is especially appealing to our young black men. They say present day Jews have stolen their identity and they are the true Jews. How is this possible? If one has the Holy Spirit, can someone steal their identity? If their religion is the way to the Father, then why do they reject the theology that says Jesus Christ is the way? And why have they gone backward to believing salvation by keeping the law and dietary restrictions? And if they have the Holy Spirit, then why are they so aggressive in their approach since God is the God of peace?

We can also conclude that Charles Taze Russell, founder of the Jehovah Witness movement, did not have the Holy Spirit. If he had Him, he would never have influenced the founders of the Jehovah Witness movement to reinterpret the Bible. They wrote their own version of the Bible called the New World Translation. And in their version of the Bible, the way many biblical passages were interpreted have been changed. And this error has caused many to stumble. The Holy Spirit does not dwell in error.

Friend, another creator of error was Charles Smith, founder of the Mormon Church, now known as the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-day Saints. If he had known the Holy Spirit, he would have never claimed to have met with two spiritual beings who he said were God the Father and Jesus Christ. Here's why. Number one, according to Revelation 17, Jesus Christ promised that every eye will see Him on His return. Number two, the Father and the Son would not have met with Smith in the wilderness without the Holy Spirit, who was already here on the earth. And the story smells fishy to say the least. Number three, Christ established His church when He said, "Thou art Peter, and upon this rock, I will build My church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it." Matthew 16:18. And number four, He also said, "If anyone says to you, look here, here is the Christ or there do not believe it." Matthew 24:23.

What about Muhammad found of the Islamic faith? If he had the Holy Spirit, he would have acknowledged that Jesus Christ is the only way to the Father. And secondly, he would not have believed the revelations he said he had received from above. After all, he had read the Holy Bible. Thirdly, he would not have dictated his revelations to scribes so that they would make it into another Bible called the Quran. Anyone who has the Holy Spirit will preach Jesus Christ as the only way. They would preach Christ as the way, the truth, and the life. And they would acknowledge that no one comes to the Father except through Jesus Christ. Instead, Muhammad presented a different and very radical way that more than a billion followers follow after today.

And what about the founders of the Christian nationalist movement? If they had the Holy Spirit dwelling in them, they would not promote a doctrine of prominence and dominance in political, cultural and social life while promoting authoritarianism. They would know that democracy and authoritarianism are passing away according to scripture. They will be supplanted by theocracy. Christ Himself will reign over the earth. And it is also worthwhile noting that studies have shown that Christian nationalists have a tendency to exhibit higher levels of anger, depression, anxiety, and emotional distress. And they would not be, this would not be the case if the Holy Spirit lived within their hearts.

If the Freemasons and their founders had the Holy Spirit, they would not omit the name of Jesus Christ from their Masonic rituals. And they would preach that He alone is the way, the truth, and the life. And they would not approve any abuse as rituals and practices in their organization. They would not be a secret order, but rather would be an open order. And they would not force members to swear on the Holy Bible to keep the internal workings of the Lodge a secret. They would instead follow the true light of the world who is Jesus Christ and recognize Him as Lord and Savior.

I pray the blood of Jesus upon every listener, Father, in the name of Jesus and that You would reveal the absolute truth of Your Word to them. Insulate their hearts and their minds, Father, I pray in the wonderful name of Jesus Christ.

Welcome friend to the body of believers in Christ. There are so many of us here awaiting the return of the Good Master, patiently waiting for Him, being assured that He will return and that we will not know the day nor the hour when He will return. In the meantime, we want to encourage you to become water baptized. Let your pastor know that you've given your heart to the Lord and you want to be baptized the way Jesus Christ was baptized.

Begin reading the Word of God every day. Begin in the book of John and then go to Matthew, Mark, and Luke, reading audibly as often as possible because faith comes by hearing the Word of God. Your faith will be strengthened by reading the Word of God aloud.
