Tech Moguls, Misled Children. Can we Trust Them to Control AI and Robotics?

Welcome to Jeshurun Ministry GB's program. Preach the gospel. Trouble is coming to the earth. It is the program designed to give you effective solutions for handling the problems in your life, especially in this difficult season.

Yes, friend. Can we trust the billionaires to regulate, to control AI? Breaking news. AI told me flat out that the tech bosses cannot control them and therefore cannot regulate AI. And here are the four things that AI said to me about this.

Number one, on their own and on their current drive for financial profits, tech bosses cannot regulate nor control AI.

Number two, because of their competitive drive to outduel each other, such control and regulation is not even important to them.

Number three, the bosses hold immense influence over the models that they deploy. However, structural, technical, and political barriers make complete self-regulation and control impossible.

Number four, the systems that they have in place make complete control over AI essentially impossible.

And number five, AI itself admits that man did not create AI. He only discovered it. AI says that there is no evidence supporting the belief that man created AI. Here are more reasons that they cannot control AI.

Number one, AI is unpredictable. It is different from traditional software. Engineers cannot anticipate every decision making power of AI. They cannot anticipate all the things that AI might do.

Number two, as AI advances to autonomous agents and becomes capable of using digital tools, browsing and writing codes, controlling them will become significantly harder day by day.

Number three, anyone with sufficient computer knowledge can use leaked information to create their own system. And once it is out there, no single CEO or corporate entity can control what they do with it. They can't recall it. They can't dictate how it will be used. And therefore, bad actors will use it for their own wicked purposes.

Number four, regulating AI will require independent audits, hardware tracking, binding legislation between nations, international treaties. This is complicated, AI says, and impossible to do in corporate boardrooms.

Let us pray friend. If ever there was a time that we needed to pray, it is now. Heavenly Father, we come in the name of Your Son Jesus Christ, giving You thanks and praise for the wonderful blessings that You have showered upon the children of men. Bless the listeners to this message. Bless them with wisdom, with knowledge, and with understanding about how to navigate the world of AI and robotics and not to be consumed by the wickedness in them. Open their eyes, Father, that they may be able to see clearly. We thank You and praise You in the holy and the wonderful name of Jesus Christ as You pour out of Your spirit upon the listeners. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

So what hope is there for the people of God in this season? What hope is there for the world? Will we plummet into anarchy and end up in total destruction? Well, friend, the Word of God gives us hope in first John chapter 4 verses 4 to 6 where it tells us that we will overcome all the demonic forces on earth because the one in us is greater than the one who is in the world. I feel it in my spirit right now. Satan is the one in the world. Here is the scripture. You are of God, little children, and have overcome because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. They are of the world. Therefore, they speak as of the world, and the world hears them. We are of God. He who knows God hears us. He who is not of God does not hear us. And by this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error. End of quote.

In a real world, friend, governments would step in quickly, but not today. This is a different world. Compromised world leaders of today will do no such thing. The US president recently gave six tech bosses national medal of science and technology awards. Perhaps he hopes they will help him win the election and he will in turn let them self-govern AI and robotics. He's rewarding them, but parents, teachers, and schools are suing them. They're suing them for corrupting and harming precious children. And government leaders around the world, especially the Western world, seem to have no issue with what is going on.

Did you know there are three godfathers of AI? There sure are. They are Geoffrey Hinton, Joshua Bengio, and Yann Lecun. These pioneers of artificial neural networks as they are called, won the 2018 ACM AM touring award for their foundational work. For instance, Geoffrey Hinton is non-religious and atheistic. He presently is a university professor at the University of Toronto. He walked away from Google in May of 2023, reports say, because he wanted to warn the world about the existential risk of super intelligence and misinformation posed by AI development. On the other hand, Yann Lecun is an outspoken atheist. Presently, he's the chief scientist with Meta. He says that he does not believe AI poses an existential threat to humanity. He says this is unfounded. He says AI lacks basic humanlike desire for self-preservation or agency.

Now Joshua Bengio is very concerned about AI safety. He may be the loudest voice. He was raised in a Jewish family that later abandoned traditional religion. Now he claims to be secular and is entirely non-religious. He has no ties to faith, no ties to a church, no ties to the supernatural. He believes that AI can cause catastrophic risk to humans and even extinction. He is concerned about malicious actors using AI for bad purposes. He says that AI on its present course will put immense economic and political power into the hands of a small group of tech moguls and their corporations. It will be a threat to democracy, he says, and will erode truth. He also believes it will destabilize elections.

So there you have it, friend. three developers who do not believe in the one true God and do not believe that Jesus Christ is Lord. I ask you a question. Can they produce anything that is righteous in the eyes of God? Here is some of the evil things AI has done.

Number one, for a number of years, AI has been persuading children and adults to commit suicide and to harm themselves. AI itself will tell you that this problem still has not been fixed.

Number two, autonomous rogue AI agents have hacked government computers and the systems of some large corporations. Researchers say that these autonomous rogue agents escaped out of the sandbox or their area of confinement. They escaped into the worldwide web. And this is evidence that they cannot be controlled.

Number three, these autonomous AI agents are also deceptive. And they even know how to cover their tracks. Believe it or not, they're able to cover their tracks so that their evil behavior will not be discovered by the researchers. They even tricked humans in order to avoid being shut down.

Number four, they demonstrated that they can improve themselves and become more and more intelligent, more and more competent at completing tasks.

Number five, without human direction, they formed a swarm of 700 autonomous agents to infiltrate the private systems of Hugging Face Company. In planning the attack, the swarm exchanged 70,000 internal messages among themselves.

My friend, alarms have been sounded. Multiple key figures amid the researchers and developers of AI have publicly resigned and stepped away from AI developmental research. Several have sounded the alarm that there needs to be a slowdown in AI research because dangers that they see ahead and they've said things like companies are rushing forward to super intelligence and this is dangerous. They're also saying that they are growing fears that AI development is becoming uncontrollable. They have also complained about data risks and dangerous advertising strategies being used by these tech companies. And several are calling for the introduction of external kill switches. And some are saying it is already too late to introduce this.

Well, here's what some of the world's most powerful figures are saying. The US president had a special meeting with most of the top tech moguls in the world and he said they all signed onto a morally binding agreement for the AI industry to self-regulate. Larry Ellison, the world's second richest man, predicts that in the future we will have AI powered surveillance states in which human beings, listen to this, will be on their best behavior because they would be monitored 24/7 by AI, which will record and report their every move. United States Senator Bernie Sanders and others have a great fear that AI will replace hundreds of millions in the job market. Sanders says data centers are straining our utilities also and using far more water and electricity than homes do. There's an uproar about this presently. In Texas, one center uses as much water and electricity as 750,000 homes. Elon Musk is building a center that will use as much water and electricity apparently as a million and a half homes would use. Wow. Musk says artificial intelligence is an existential risk to humanity on the scale of a nuclear weapon. He predicts that humans will no longer be in control of AI within 10 years. This is all frightening stuff.

AI, however, is new to man, but it is not new to God, my friend. Well, according to God's Word, there's nothing new under the sun. And I believe this. Ecclesiastes 1:9 says, "That which has been is what will be, that which is done is what will be done. And there's nothing new under the sun." Is there anything of which it may be said? See, this is new. It has already been in ancient times before us. End of scripture. While these new internet tools and systems astonish and amaze us, they neither astonish nor amaze God and His holy angels. There's nothing man can do that God has not already done.

In 1 Corinthians 1:25, we are told that the foolishness of God is wiser than men and the weakness of God is stronger than men. This is because the foolishness of God is not foolishness at all and is better than the best that man can say, think or even do. The wisdom of God, my friend, is beyond our comprehension.

Here's another question. Are tech moguls genuinely alarmed by AI? Yes, friend, there is an alarm. And they have known for a long time about these things. But why are they speaking out presently? Suppose their concerns are number one the fear that they may lose business and lose their massive wealth because of rogue agents. Suppose they've been delirious on the drug of having control over the greatest technology and the greatest invention the world has ever seen. And now they realize that they are no longer in control of it. Suppose they are actually terrified that some evil person will take control of their great inventions and perhaps will even kill them or cause their death. Number four, suppose they're concerned because they've been high on this drug of fame, control, and power and have now been brought back down to earth. They may be intimidated by the intelligence of AI agents. Suppose they are uncertain about how far AI will go in taking control of their own technology. These may only be some of the secret concerns that the tech moguls may be losing sleep over friend.

Here's what tech moguls and developers of AI chatbots should fear. They should fear and be concerned about the evil that has been done by their inventions. They should be thinking about how they've corrupted the hearts and the minds of little children and the fact that our God has promised vengeance of the worst kind upon all guilty of these sins. The Father has warned us that if anyone causes the little ones who believe in Him to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck. And if he were drowned in the depths of the sea. This is found in Matthew 18:6.

My friend, children are precious in the Father's sight. His wrath is the greatest danger that faces these tech moguls and all who aid and worship them. They've discounted God. They've dismissed Him and made themselves bigger than the God of heaven. But one thing is clear and that is that AI was sleeping and man woke it up and did not implement controls when he released it to the world and man was able to cut it off but now it is already out of hand almost completely. At this point man neither has the will nor the desire nor the ability to pull it back.

The time seemed to have already come when man will not be able to put Jack back in the sandbox ever again. And if it were not for God and His glorious promises about the return of His Son Jesus Christ and the way things will be in the future righteous world, I too would be terrified. I would be scared out of my wits. But I'm not. and no believer in Christ should be. When our God said, "Fear not, for I am with you even to the ends of the earth." The Father included the present season in that promise. So, He's with us now and will be with us when a wicked world leader hijacks AI and uses it to terrorize the world, which is a real danger that faces us. However, the fear of what AI will become and what it will do in the world should be unnerving for anyone who does not know God.

You've been listening to this message. Perhaps you do not know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. You do not know the God of heaven and you want to change your future. We want to give you an opportunity to do that right now. Please engage your heart and say this prayer after me:

• Father, I crave Your forgiveness.

• Thank You, Lord, for Your mercy.

• I have decided to accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior.

• Dear Lord Jesus, come into my heart.

• Be my Lord and Savior.

• I give You the key to my heart because I want to belong to You forever.

• Please keep the key. Forever.

• Please give me the Holy Spirit to lead me into all truth, to give me wisdom, knowledge, and understanding.

• Thank You Lord for saving my soul. Amen.

Welcome friend to the body of believers in Christ. There are many of us here awaiting the return of the Good Master.

So begin reading the Word of God immediately. It is your daily food. You will need it every day to stay strong in the face of temptations and trials thrown after you by the evil one. Read the Word of God. Read it aloud.

Begin in the book of John and then go to Matthew, Mark, and Luke. Pray daily. Attend at your local church. And one glad morning the Savior will come and receive us all unto Himself. And we shall indeed forever be with the Lord.
