Satan has deceived the rich and powerful leaders of the world.

When many of the media moguls, tech billionaires, and politicians became rich and powerful, they began to believe that they were really in charge and running the things of the world. And now that media companies have been allowed to remove the guard rails over truth and error, which is crazy, their owners have begun to flex their muscles along with the tech billionaires. And now they are reshaping the political world and not for good either.

Many of them have begun to think that they are invincible and that they will be untouched by the evil that they did on the way to becoming rich and powerful. They begin to believe that the world is theirs and they can do whatever they wish. There's no one to police them, friend, and everyone everywhere caters to them because of their outlandish wealth. Some turned out in great display to the recent US president's inauguration. Some have suddenly become powerful election influencers in some of the most powerful nations on earth. And as a result, God blinds them to the some of the simple realities of life.

And Father, we give You thanks and praise for Your Word. We pray that the rich and powerful in the world today will humble themselves under Your mighty hand and that they may recognize that You are God and begin walking in accordance with Your commands before it is too late. In Jesus Christ's name we pray. Amen.

The first reality they must face is that nothing belongs to them really because God's Word says the earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof. Which means the earth and the entire world with all the planets, the moons, the stars and most especially the sun belong to God. In addition, all of the trillions of dollars in the world today belong to The Father as well as every car, every house, every factory, every rocket, every luxury yacht, and every super yacht belong to God. All our teeth, whether false or real, belong to Him. And all our clothing right down to our undies belong to The Father and we cannot carry anything where we are going. He has created all things and controls all of them. We came naked and we all leave naked. So what is all the fuss about?

The second reality they must face and we also is that material riches is like a noose around the neck. The Holy Bible tells us in 1 Timothy 6:9 that those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men or plunge them in destruction and perdition which is ruin, in other words. Those super greedy media industry and political giants with no moral fiber who crave super riches soon stumble. They will be led completely astray by Satan who will pull them down to their destruction. They will be plunged into hell and total ruin just as the scriptures have prophesied.

The third reality they try to ignore is that they are exploiting children. But this has serious consequences. The media moguls and those who enable them are gaining wealth on the backs of and at the expense of the mental health of millions of children. About half of teens surveyed say that social media platforms have a mostly negative effect on people their age. 71% of children and young people admit to having intimate relationships with computer bots who are essentially robots. In other words, they are out of their minds. And yet we lord the rich and famous, media leaders and their enablers. While 71% of our children say that they have a relationship with a computer bot and no one seemed to be alarmed. We need to understand that these are not casual relationships. Many of them are intimate and very important to young people.

89.5% of all school age children between the ages of 5 to 17 use computers. Children spend twice as long on computer screens as they do playing outside. 75% of all children spend less than 60 minutes playing outside every day. And even then, 75% of them often refuse to play games that do not use some kind of technology. And studies show that children who spend too much time in front of computer screens are often less capable of reading social cues or engaging in face-to-face interaction and have difficulty forming meaningful relationships with others. In other words, they are social misfits. And the experts say social media limits direct contact of our teenagers with other teens their age. And this means it separates them from actual human to human interaction with each other. And this cannot be good. It leaves them with low self-esteem, anxiety, and depression.

Face-to-face situations with each other is how we grow, friend. How we develop maturity. It is the process called iron sharpening iron. And this causes them to miss out on developing some human traits that make them emotionally strong. Traits like emotional intelligence, maintaining positive relationships, companionships, empathy, communication skills, and most importantly, the importance of serving each other. And when opportunities to develop these traits are denied, they end up not feeling so good about themselves, apparently. And lacking inner peace which can then lead to depressed feelings and parents will soon be taking care of children in math.

And there's a new term out there called digital dementia. And this is a term used to describe the cognitive decline and memory problems that result from excessive use of digital technology. I suppose this is one that can impact or have an effect on people of all ages, but we should be alarmed that it is affecting our children. A December 13, 2023 article by the neurology center of epilepsy and seizure says that the symptoms include forgetfulness, difficulty concentrating, decreased ability to focus and these can come along with increased anxiety, stress and dependence on digital device for everything. And they've already seen a trend that too much screen time during childhood may increase the risk of Alzheimer's, believe it or not, and related dementia in adulthood.

And so this generation, according to UNICEF, will not be a very empathetic one because they will be unable to read faces and learn social skills. These two abilities are essential in the development of empathy. And face-to-face interactions are absolutely necessary in order for children to learn to understand nonverbal expressions and to be able to interpret them. They simply will not be able to understand what others are feeling, nor will many of them care. Their attention span will be shortened. And this is perhaps why short videos today are the only ones that spark a real interest in them. They cannot handle more than one verse of scripture a day perhaps. And so the computer geniuses of today have suddenly become the super rich. And much of this wealth has been gained selling programs that manipulate children. They've been covertly creating computer programs and systems that appeal mostly to children and many of which are destroying them.

And meanwhile they have become rich, famous and exceptionally powerful. And they have become the super intelligent people of the world. And everyone looks to them for advice, for answers because they have become the fake professionals on life itself. The reporters and newsmakers eat up every word they speak and run with it as if it is the word of God Himself. Meanwhile, these super rich and powerful people with calm demeanor who dress simple and look like the guy next door are working steadily with Satan to destroy an entire generation.

The fourth reality is that the Lord God is not pleased with them. The Word of God has a warning for them, saying, "Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were drowned in the depths of the sea." Woe to the world because of offenses, for offenses must come, but woe to that man by whom the offense comes. Matthew 18:6 and 7. The Word of God is telling us that these sins against our children must be committed. But a warning is extended to those who commit these sins and perpetrate these injustices against our children, telling them that retribution is coming. Retribution is coming to the filthy rich in the computer world and to those working for them who are aware of how these systems harm our children. And retribution is coming to the pol the politicians that enable them and turn a blind eye because they are being paid off by them.

And Jesus Christ told us that the children of the world have angels in heaven who report directly to The Father telling Him about any on earth who abuse and manipulate these precious pearls. And it is found in Matthew 18 and 10. Take heed that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I say to you that in heaven their angel always see the face of My Father who is in heaven. This assures us friend that The Father cares about every little child and watches over them. Jesus Christ promised to give the Kingdom Of Heaven not to the rich, not to the famous nor to the powerful. He promised the kingdom to the poor in spirit. What does it mean to be poor in spirit? To be poor in spirit is to be devoid of spiritual arrogance. It means to be to consider oneself to be insignificant. It means to recognize that you are helpless without Christ no matter what state or condition you are in. And these persons are poor in pride and humble in all of their ways. Unless believers in Christ are this way, they will not see God's smiling face.

And the Lord says to the man who is poor in spirit, "Wait on the Lord and keep His way, and He shall exalt you to inherit the land. When the wicked are cut off, you shall see it. I have seen the wicked in great power and spreading himself like a green bay tree, yet he passed away. I looked for him, but I could not find him." This Word is telling us that over and over again people of the world rise up in great power, in great riches and great fame but soon they cannot even get out of their own way as they decline or suddenly disappear. And further the psalmist declares that he looked for them but he could not find them. And the Word of God here is calling to the rich and the famous to be merciful and to be compassionate, warning them not to allow their great power to cause their brain matter to fester and rot, making them a terror to the people around them and the people of the world, especially to children.

And this message is not only to the arrogant and the great and powerful leaders of the world, but to all the everyday arrogant and narcissistic people of the world as well. And some of whom are very small indeed. And there are some who are not rich and powerful, who only run their family, but they rule over their family like tyrants. And when they come home, everyone in the house is nervous and on edge.

In conclusion, here are the four realities that the rich and powerful, the famous, the billionaires, the media moguls, autocratic tyrants, and you know many of them. I can call them by name and all self-serving and abusive people in the world must be aware of these. The first reality they must face is that nothing belongs to them. Absolutely nothing because God's Word says the earth is the Lord's and everything in it. The second reality they must face is that material riches is like a noose around their necks. The third reality is that exploiting children has serious consequences because the angels of these little ones have free access to The Father every living day. They advise Him about those who abuse them daily. The fourth reality is that the Lord God is not pleased with them and has sent a warning out to them. He says, "Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were drowned in the depths of the sea."

Father, we thank You for Your Word. And we pray that it will impact the listener in such a way that it would transform their thinking and they would become a part of the solution. And not a part of the problem. We thank You, Father, in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

Welcome friend to the body of believers in Christ. There are so many of us here awaiting the return of the Good Master. In the meantime, we encourage you to become water baptized. Let your pastor know you've given your heart to the Lord and you want to be baptized the way Jesus Christ was.

Begin reading the Word of God every day. It is your necessary spiritual food to keep you strong in the Lord and to help you fight temptation. Begin in the book of John, then go to Matthew, Mark, and Luke, reading audibly as often as possible because faith comes by hearing the Word of God. Pray daily. Attend at your local church and one glad morning the Savior will come and receive us all unto Himself and we shall indeed forever be with the Lord. God bless and keep you in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
