"God loves the homosexuals, lesbians, transgenders, and all others!"

This message deals with the sensitive issues of sexuality in the way God sees it, and according to His Word. It also wades into the way these issues have become a political football that many use to deceive many. It also highlights a pervasive prejudice that is not pleasing to God!

God loves the homosexuals, lesbians, transgenders, and all others.

That's the message. Hello and welcome to Jeshurun Ministry GB channel in the Bahamas.

Yes, friend. God most definitely loves homosexuals, lesbians, transgenders, adulterers, fornicators, drug users, and all who commit every kind of sexual sin. And He loves them equally. God also loves His children who are backsliders and have gone back into the world. There's absolutely no question about His love for all His children. The question of whether God loves sinners was settled at Calvary when Christ laid down His life for all sinners in the entire world. No one can legitimately challenge God's love for all types of people in His world.

Therefore, the big question is not whether God loves the homosexuals, lesbians, backsliders, adulterers, and all other sinners. The big question is do they love God? This is the huge issue. In fact, the greatest question facing every human being today is whether we truly love the Lord and how much do we truly love Him. Do we love Him enough to be obedient to Him? Many in the world are claiming to love God but are living according to the standards of the people who do not know God.

Father, I thank You for the love of Your Son Jesus Christ who died for us on Calvary. I pray for all listeners with various handicaps in their sexual makeup, Father, in their mode of sensual feeling and in their appetites. I pray that You will empower them to walk in obedience to Your Word, Father. Give them an understanding of true holiness without which no man shall see the Lord according to Your holy and wonderful Word. And I pray this in Jesus Christ's name. Amen.

Reality check number one. The world is passing away and all its overrated lust and cravings. Only the one who does the will of the Lord will live forever.

But what does true and sincere love for God really look like? The Word of God sums it up in one word, obedience. Obedience to the Word of God is the acid test for our love for Him. Our willingness to bend both knees to Him is the proof, the evidence. Giving our will to Him is what He's looking for. Obedience is listening out for His Word and submitting to the authority of Christ. Obedience is hearing God speak, then stepping out in faith. Obedience is the key way we show God that our love is real.

Reality check number two. Obedience is more than just doing things like going to church, keeping the Sabbath, putting money in the collection box, helping the poor, etc. The true picture of obedience is Jesus Christ saying to The Father, "Behold, I have come to do Your will." This picture taken from another angle is Christ on the night before His crucifixion saying, "Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me. Nevertheless, not My will, but Yours be done." Luke 22:42. The Apostle Paul defined it this way. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even to the death of the cross. Philippians 2:8.

Reality check number three. Christ knew what He was sent to do and lived to do it.

Another picture of obedience is Abraham waiting 100 years for a son, then trudging up the mountain side with his son Isaac, prepared to sacrifice him to the Lord in obedience. He did this because the Lord told him to do so. But the Lord Jehovah Jireh, his provider, provided a lamb in a thicket at the last moment. Therefore, friend, obedience is loving God more than the gifts that God gives to us.

It is unfortunate that the kingdom of the world, which is Satan's kingdom, is headed by the political world and the evil spiritual powers that govern it, have created political labels which make it seem as if the homosexuals and lesbians etc. are on the left side with the wicked and the adulterers, pedophiles, defrauders, liars, thieves, and even rapists are on the right side with the righteous followers of Christ. This is not the way God sees it, friend. I assure you, the wicked people on the right are calling out to the wicked people on the left and saying that they are wicked. This is political talk. Do not get mixed up in it.

This is false righteousness and false religion. More of this is coming and it will be stronger and harder to resist. The Word of God says all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. No, not one of us is able to measure up. Neither those on the right or those on the left. Only through Christ Jesus can we attain righteousness. This left and right thing introduced by the political world gives the impression that those who commit opposite sex sins that are more acceptable in today's societies are acceptable to God. But others who commit or support same-sex sins that today's societies consider more serious and frown upon are wicked and rejected by God. However, the Word of God teaches that sin is sin.

Reality check number four. There's no left or right in heaven. There's no gay or straight in heaven. There's only righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. The world is passing away, friend, and the lust of it. But he who does the will of God abides forever, scripture tells us.

I am sympathetic with those who were born with physical abnormalities in their sexual organs and their feelings. But unfortunately, this does not make gender a choice. The world is having a sexual revolution because of these and other complex issues of sin. Here are three points from AI overview.

Number one, more children and young people seem to be having gender issues than ever. This is called gendered dysphoria, which simply means that they given one gender at birth, but in their brain makeup and feelings, they feel they are more like the opposite gender. This causes stress and sometimes lead to requests for sex changes in children, young people and even adults. These treatments called gender affirming care are on the increase.

Number two, sexual dysfunction in men and women is increasing throughout the world and this trend is prophesied in the holy scriptures.

Number three, more people are identifying as homosexuals and lesbians than ever before. I am sympathetic to anyone who is having these struggles and remind myself and others that these are all God's children.

But I'm not sympathetic with those who teach that gender is a choice and those who seek to normalize sexual sin, parade it around and persuade our children to convert to a sinful lifestyle that is displeasing to God.

Reality check number five. No matter what challenges or handicaps we have, obedience is still attainable by the power of the Holy Spirit.

God is no respecter of persons either. He said David was a man after His own heart, which indicated that He loved David dearly. But when David sinned by committing adultery with Bathsheba, then murdered her husband, God's hand was so heavy upon him that he almost lost his kingdom and nearly lost his mind. Humbled by his own son Absalom, his kingship stolen from him, he walked out of Jerusalem as no king. He had no shoes on his feet, his head covered, and wept as he went. And the people going with him also wept. Meanwhile, his wicked son Absalom wore his crown and made love to his 10 concubines on the rooftop of the king's palace in plain sight of all Jerusalem.

God has given us a simple command equating obedience with love. He said, "If you love Me, keep My commandments and I will pray The Father and He will give you another helper that He may abide with you forever, the Spirit of Truth whom the world cannot receive because it neither sees Him nor knows Him but you know Him for He dwells with you and will be in you." John 14 and 15.

Jesus Christ said, "If we love God, keep His commandments." Then immediately after He promised the apostles that He would give them the Holy Spirit. He said, "The Holy Spirit is with you. You have Him near you, but soon He will be inside of you." In other words, when He comes on the inside of us, He enables us to be obedient to Him. He also told them in this same text, "Those in the world cannot receive the Holy Spirit. Those who live according to the fashions, lusts, and the ways of the world cannot receive the Holy Spirit is what the Word of God says. He said they neither see Him nor do they know Him. They do not observe His presence in the earth. They only see the glitz and glamour that the world offers.

You cannot keep God's commandments faithfully without the help of the Holy Spirit. And many are in the church who do not have the Holy Spirit. They have gone out to preach, to teach, to sing and to dance in the church and do not have the Holy Spirit. They are like the children in the wilderness, the children of Israel who made the golden calf and in the morning rose up to worship the calf and to play. And this is why we have so much dysfunction in the church today. We are worshiping but not worshiping God. The people outside see our dysfunction and decide they do not want to be a part of it.

Reality check number six. When the Holy Spirit comes into our heart, He empowers us to keep God's commandments and to live holy in the sight of God no matter what kind of temptations we have. In this text, Christ ties obedience to His Word to receiving the Holy Spirit. He was not in the apostles at that time, but He was with them. And then after 10 days of praying and meditating, His apostles and disciples received the Holy Spirit on the inside. Many who are today claiming to know the Holy Spirit do not have Him in their heart because they are not willing to be obedient to Christ. Therefore, they have a different spirit and only a form of godliness. Christ is a heart reader, friend. He can tell.

Clearly in the eyes of Christ, love is not just something we say or something that we think we feel. For in 1st Samuel 15:22, the Word of God tells us obedience is better than sacrifice. And this means that submitting to God and being faithful to Him is far more important than any ritual that we can perform for Him. It is more important than giving an offering. Obedience is more important than performing certain duties at your church. And it is more important than any sacrifice you can make for the Lord.

Clearly friend, love of God is demonstrated by obedience to Him, without which, it is not love but only lip service. Love of God involves searching for Him with our whole heart and when we find Him studying His Word so that we can know what His commands are and then can obey them faithfully. Love is committing everything that we do unto the Lord and listening for His voice as He instructs us.

And so the question of whether God truly loves us was settled at Calvary. It was settled when He allowed His Son Jesus Christ to lay down His life for all mankind so that we all may have an abundant life in Him. And the scripture known by every child in the Bahamas is John 3:16. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. We are all loved by Him in spite of our sinfulness and in spite of our refusal to be obedient to His Word. His hand is continually extended to all of us. However, God's patience has its limits.

Reality check seven. True love of God has obedience to God's command written all over it because sin cannot enter heaven or enter the presence of God.

Welcome friend to the body of believers in Christ. There are many of us here awaiting the return of the Good Master. In the meantime, we encourage you to become water baptized as quickly as possible. Let your pastor know that you've committed your life to the Lord and you want to be baptized the way Jesus Christ was.

Begin reading the Word of God every day. Begin in the book of John and then go to Matthew, Mark, and Luke. Pray daily. Attend at your local church. And one glad morning, the Savior will come and receive us all unto Himself. And we shall indeed forever be with the Lord. God bless and keep you in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
