10.1 Earthquake & Tsunami Hit The Earth In The Final Plagues Of God's Judgement

A 10.1 earthquake and tsunami slams into the earth in the final plagues of God's wrath. That's our message taken from Revelation 16.

When the seven bowl judgments are poured out upon the earth, civilization as we know it today will no longer be in existence. These devastating judgments from the hand of God will come on the heel of 14 other judgments that will have already damaged mankind and the earth beyond repair. But after these final seven are poured out, there will be total panic and chaos in every nation on the face of the earth. Economies of every nation will collapse. The world as we know it today will cease to exist. And just before the seven bowls are poured out, the Word of God says the following. The temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God and from His power. And no one was able to enter the temple till the seven plagues of the seven angels were completed. Now this shutting down of God's temple is an ominous sign. It means that God is up to something and access to Him is momentarily blocked. In the days of the Israelites journey through the wilderness, whenever the cloud covered the tabernacle, everything stopped and there would be no movement until the cloud lifts again. At this time, either God was taking a break or He was in His lab developing something or maybe He was simply giving them time to think about their behavior.

Father, we thank You for the blood of Jesus upon this word today. Send it forth with great power, with clarity. Give understanding to the listeners, Father, we pray in the name of Jesus Christ. And remove every error in this message from their heart and from their mind. Father, we pray in Jesus name. Amen.

What do you do when God stops communicating with you? Well, you know how it is when you can feel His presence. And you know how empty you feel when you cannot sense His nearness, His presence. In fact, Habakkuk 2 and 20 tells us what to do when God is in His holy temple. It says to us the following. For the Lord is in His holy temple. Let all the earth keep silent before Him. Then in our moments of silence, He shows up in great power. He comforts us. He strengthens us, assures us of His great love for us. When God is in His temple, He's at work. And His work at this time of the final judgments will be more serious than any other time on earth. And such will be the state of affairs as the seven angels prepare to pour out the bowls of His wrath upon the earth.

The Word of God calls this series of judgments the wrath of God upon the earth. And we will soon see why. For this will be God's final expression of His weariness with our disobedience, His disappointment with our lack of faith, His frustration with the world's unbelief in His word and His impatience with our backsliding. His longsuffering will have run its full course, and God's patience would have run out. Well, friend, perfect patience runs out perfectly. Then God will be done with unbelievers, with the unfaithful, and with the wicked. People living on earth will no longer have a free will to live as sinful as they wish, as they are today. The unbeliever will be no more. Sin will soon be dealt a deadly blow.

The announcement of these seven bowls judgment will be different from the announcements of the seven seals and the seven trumpets judgments that come before. On that day, a great voice will speak out of the temple, which will be the voice of God telling the seven angels to pour out the bowls of God's wrath upon the earth. And this is the big moment the world is unprepared for. At that point, the Word of God says, "The first angel went and poured out his bowl upon the earth, and a foul and loathsome sore came upon the men who had the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image." Revelation 16 and 2, perhaps these sores will be like the flesh eating disease that we have heard about that is on the earth presently. This disease is called necrotizing fasciitis and is an infection that kills the soft body tissue. The flesh becomes red, purple or black as it swells and it is accompanied by severe pain, severe fever and vomiting. Or it might be like shingles, a painful rash caused by the reactivation of the chickenpox virus. Whatever this sore is, it will be very painful.

Then the Word of God says that the second angel poured out his bowl upon the sea and it became blood as of a dead man and every living creature in the sea died. The blood of a dead person apparently is clotted and thick and the color of the blood is usually dark red to bluish purple. This will be the end of all marine life and the end of any who are on the high seas at this time. It will be the end of ships sailing from one country to another. Shipping ports will be closed and nations will be cut off from each other. Submarines will be stuck at the bottom of the ocean, unable to rise to the surface. There will be no more family cruises. In a moment you will see that there will be no reason for children to go to school. Nor will there be any jobs for parents to go to. Governments will no longer be able to function. All government offices will close. Airports, train stations, and bus stations will not be open. People will be stuck wherever they are and some perhaps will never see their family members again. Gas stations will be on fire or covered by water from a huge tsunami. In fact, there will be no place to go. There will be no reason to go anywhere because it will be the same tragic circumstance in every country, in every nation. And the problem of refugees fleeing their country to look for a better life will no longer be an issue for any nation because there will be no havens of refuge to be found anywhere on earth. In fact, we are already moving toward this. The greatest haven of refuge on earth for years has been the United States. But the US has already closed its doors to refugees. And this will not change because it is the will of the majority and perhaps the will of God. Third world nations will suddenly be on par with the leading nations of the world. And every nation will be a third world country. The playing field will have been leveled. Hospitals will be unable to function and mothers will have to deliver their own babies. Bodies of the injured, the dying and the dead will be strewn all over the place and there will be no one to take care of them. Television and radio stations will not be able to function. The internet will collapse. Phone systems will go down. There will be no way to send or receive information from loved ones and billions on the earth will be resolved to curse God and die. After the nations are destroyed, the Lord will take aim at the freshwater sources on earth, namely rivers, the lakes, springs, and other fountains of fresh water.

And the Word of God says, "And the third angel poured out his bowl upon the rivers and fountains of waters, and they became blood. And the angel of the waters said, "You are righteous, O Lord, the one who is and who was and who is to be, because You have judged these things, for they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and You have given them blood to drink." In this day, a cool glass of fresh water will be more desirable than a million dollars. It will be reminiscent of the time when the rich man cried out to Father Abraham, asking him to have mercy on him and to send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool his tongue.

When the fourth angel pours out his bowl, you will see the extent of the hardness of man's heart on full display. You will see that the heart can become so hard that it will be impenetrable. Nothing will cause this hard heart to be humbled again. And the text says, "Then the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and power was given to him to scorch men with fire, and men were scorched with great heat, and they blasphemed the name of God, who has power over these plagues, and they did not repent and give Him glory." Whenever anyone hardens his heart toward God's Word, toward His commandment, or anything that He says to us, God does the unexpected after a while. If the individual continues to harden his heart, after a while, God hardens that person's heart even more. And when God hardens our heart, it's all over. The heart is then totally useless to God.

And the Word of God says that the fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast and his kingdom became full of darkness and they gnawed or chewed their tongues because of the pain. They blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores and did not repent of their deeds. This means that the contents of bowl five attacked the seat of power of the beast, destroying his power base, bringing down all the generals and great leaders of this evil kingdom and all the others that follow this kingdom. John saw this bowl being poured out on the principalities, on the powers, the rulers of the darkness, and on spiritual wickedness in high places. These are the forces of Babylon that have been corrupting the earth for thousands of years. We do not know what it means that the kingdom of the beast was full of darkness. But whatever it was, it was painful for these princes of the darkness.

Then the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up so that the way of the kings from the east might be prepared. And John said, "I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are spirits of demons performing signs which go out to the kings of the earth and of the whole world to gather them to battle of that great day of God Almighty." Perhaps the next verse is a clue to who these kings of the east may be. In verse 15, the Lord Jesus Christ says, "Behold, I'm coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame." At first, it appears that the Lord leaves us with a great puzzle about who the kings from the east may be. But very quickly, he turns around and tells us that He is coming as a thief. And He warns us to keep our garments spotless. Otherwise, we would be left naked, walking naked. Perhaps these kings from the east will be the forces of God Himself.

Now, at the time that the seventh angel pours out his bowl into the air, a loud voice comes out of the temple of heaven and from the throne of God, saying, "It is done." Then after this several events occur and I will list them. There will be noises, thunderings and lightnings. There will also be the most powerful earthquake that has ever happened on earth. The great city will be divided into three parts. Perhaps this refers to Jerusalem. The cities of the nations will fall. The Lord will remember to give Babylon the cup of the wine of the fierceness of His wrath the Word of God says. And then every island will flee away. The mountains will disappear. Hailstones weighing 75 pounds or more will fall from heaven upon the people of the world who will blaspheme God because this plague will be very great." And yet these will not repent.

Oh God, have mercy on anyone listening to this message who has been hardening their heart against Your Word and Your commands and against Your Son Jesus Christ. Please soften these hearts, Father, we pray in the holy and the wonderful name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Perhaps you do not know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and you want to escape the wrath of God in His day of judgment. Well, friend, we give you an opportunity as usual to make a commitment to the Lord today. Please engage your heart and say this prayer after me and God will answer your sacrifice:

-Father, I am a sinner.

-I am sorry for all my sins.

-I crave Your forgiveness.

-Help my unbelief.

-Save my sinful soul.

-Thank You, Lord, for Your mercy.

-Today I invite Jesus Christ into my heart.

-Dear Lord Jesus, make my heart Your home.

-I give You the key to my heart today because I now belong to You forever.

-Please keep the key forever.

-Please give me the Holy Spirit to lead me into all truth.

-Thank You Lord for saving my soul. Amen.

Welcome friend to the body of believers in Christ. There are many of us here awaiting the return of the Good Master. Begin reading the Word of God every day. It is your daily food. You will need it to stay strong as a believer in Christ, as a Christian. Begin reading in the book of John. Then go to Matthew, Mark, and Luke, reading audibly as often as possible because faith comes by hearing the Word of God. Pray daily. Attend at your local church. And one glad morning the Savior will come and receive us all unto Himself and we shall forever be with the lord. God bless and keep you in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
